In one of my favorite scenes in “Gravity” (with the other being the epic opening scene), Sandra Bullock’s character radios for any help she can find, stumbling upon a conversation with an Inuit man. We hear him speak an unknown language, his dogs barking in the bg, and eventually sing this soothing song, which we discover in this film is him mourning his fallen dog. Well, that entire conversation now is revealed from the Inuit man’s perspective in this companion short written and directed by director Alfonso Cuarón’s son and co-screenwriter Jonás Cuarón. Take a look, a nice touch to one of my favorite films of all time.
