Charlie Sheen on NBC’s Today, looking weathered as ever.

In retrospect, Sheen seems to have claimed an unadulterated victory, minus a few major losses like his children’s custody.  Still, he accomplished what I feel he set out for.  Sheen got out of the very show he was tired of, with a healthy settlement to boot; got to air out his dirty laundry and hatred for showrunner Chuck Lorre; and eventually landed his very own show on FX, a network very friendly to singular voices.  If the show hits, it will trigger an automatic 90 episodes commitment.  All in all, Sheen essentially proved what infants have showed us throughout time – you cry loud enough, you eventually get what you want.  Here are stills from set on his current show “Anger Management”.
